8-BIT OPERATORS – WANNA HLD YR HANDHELD, VOL. 1

Good morning. In case some of you have Spotify, and have stumbled upon this Psilodump track called “Saturnus”, please recognize that it’s not made by me. It’s a remix by Per Hammar, released by Eltronic Fusion Records.

Let me explain: When approached by Per, requesting an OK for a label to release his remix, I said “no” - simply, because I just didn’t like it.

Later on, curiously, the label released it anyways, which made me completely furious! I swiftly jumped out the window, without even opening it first, meanly chased a badger with a fly swatter, climbed up in a carefully selected tree in total fury and rage, and from the tree top I shouted, loud but not incontrovertibly clear: “DOO NOOT WANT!”. This is all true.

But then, the label said “oh sorry”. And I said “naaw, forget about it – could happend to anyone”, and ate dinner. They said: “Hey! Don’t cry – we give you millions of $$$”. I said: “well, considerably correct amount, for very yes!”. So for a brief but glorious moment in time, I thought I had won, and that all my troubles would finally be long gone. But….. I failed.

The remix came back to haunt me – only this time, credited as if it was made by me!!! On Spotify!!!

I woke up today, feeling unusually restless. I ate some and then sat at my computer to work on some stuff, but nothing seemed fun, and I was growing more and more restless. So I vociferated to my roommate that we should go outdoors, and just my luck, he needed to post a letter! So off we went!

We quickly realized the first snow had come! And even worse; we soon had to realize that is was TOTALLY !”#¤#&¤/ FREEZING as well. Things didn’t look any better considering the fact that I didn’t have any gloves, nor did I have any scarf, with me. The wind was blowing very hard too, so it was a total fUxXZORIsH HELL (ok, so yes, see, I DO realize it’s supposed to be *HOT* in hell, and not the opposite, right, ok, fine, yes I know, anyways) being outdoors, but there was no way back!!!

The photo above doesn’t quite 100% depict the horror, as it was, but you can pretend you empathize with my dread and anxiety! ;P WELL, YOU SHOULD!!! INSENSITIVE BASTARDS!!! it was FREEZING!!! I’m no WIMP!!! YOU HEAR?! I PROMISE..!
anyways – coming home again was a sheer bliss, and was I still feeling restless??? phat chance :PP I was so blunted that I could just sit down by my computer and get straight to work.

Btw, me and Paza Rahm are going to Russia for a mini-tour in a few weeks! :P

I’m just about to go to sleep.

Earlier tonight I finally finished a remix I have been working on since May this year. Strange how long it took… :/ It’s a remix of a tune called “West” by Redzic & Quantum. Not to be released, as far as known, just for their demo… but I’m quite satisfied with my effort =)

Speaking of remixes! The remix I did for Sound of Habib (“Invincible – Mean Streets”) turned out to be so good, that it will be released in (typ) October this year, on their 12″ !! Wohoo :))

Babbling on about remixes, Sbindon released yet another online album a few days ago, called “Spacetime”, and my remix of “Tingeling2k” is included, as the last tune, on it! It’s a rather good one, which I performed at the Enschede Microfestival 2003, earlier this year.

Today I also did a parody-picture of the gay-pop-band band Alcatraz’ album cover, with the
X-Dump Filesystem on it instead of them, but I guess I won’t be publishing it on the page, since I don’t want people getting any wrong kind of impressions of the filesystem, and I don’t want a law-suite or anything either ;D hehe

Tomorrow, me and Ingrid are going to my oldest brothers lantställe (translation?), and meet his family etc…. gosh, that reminds me that I really should be going to bed now soon!! :))) haha

Otherwize, yesterday was kind of a depressing day somehow, I hope I will wake up to a happy day tomorrow :D …or something?
