Streaming Snabelnauts + New Myspace Design etc.
Oct 26th, 2009 by Psilodump
Right! So now the Return of the Snabelnauts release is streamable on Myspace ! Also, the design got a bit of a boost. I haven’t been paying that much attention to my myspace page for some time, so I thought now would be the time to do a makeover!
In a couple of weeks I’m putting out the next digital release, also on 476 Digital, entitled Hidden Trains of Pippuri ! I hope both releases are/will be well received.

I’ve been quite sceptical towards this digital distribution crap in the past, but now that I’m giving it a go for real, I’m actually quite pleased with it :)
I don’t have any sales numbers or anything at this point, so I’m not sure if the release is doing well or not. But then again, maybe it’s not that interesting nor important. I just hope people are able to enjoy the music, and that the digital stores are not a complete pain in the ass. xD
I must admit, I don’t have much reference or experience on the subject myself, since I’m no longer a big music shopper, and don’t usually have time to listen new music ‘:O
But don’t worry, even though digital distribution is upheld being the future, there is still some physical Psilodump releases coming up! The big one is a new CD release on Demon Tea, coming out as soon as I manage to finish it! This time, it’s a 3 disc one! And I’m sure, if you are and/or have been a big fan of my music, this is a release you most definetly will appreciate! More details will be revealed towards the time of the release ;)
In other news, the fancy official Psilodump fanpage on Facebook now has a million fans! I guess this would be the best source for updates on Psilodump stuff, for now. Also, there is a The X-Dump fanpage available now.
I bet there is other news to talk about, but right now there is something else I need to attend to ยด: )
Cheerz!

Hah! Nice names on the pics there :D
A busy man, you are! Can’t wait to hear what you’re currently working on… keep those releases coming!
Heres some sales figures for ya… I bought your last 2 releases, The Nya Albumet and Snabelnauts, LOVED them both and will absolutely buy your next releases. No questions asked.
There you go! ;-)
Same.
A bit of a report on my experiences as your customer… Demon Tea themselves were horrible to deal with – in that they did not even attempt to communicate with me re: questions I had etc. The Saiko Sounds experience was fine though (website a little hard to navigate but no big deal there, product arrived in a timely fashion).
For Snabelnauts, Juno turned out to be a bit of a let down. I had assumed the ‘CD’ option would be a proper audio CD with the full quality tracks – no, it’s just a CD of the same tracks I already downloaded, no cover art supplied (white unmarked blank CD) and messy Vista left over information showing the CD wasn’t even closed off properly :) After waiting months to receive it (probably customs) I expected a bit more. Like, a proper CD or something.
I guess when it comes to digital distribution I really shouldn’t be expecting anything of physical goods, but I completely fail to see the point of the CD option at all in this case, since you get less than what I was able to download from the site anyway…
Completely 100% looking forward to three discs of more stuff. Yum.
Also re: X-Dump fanpage – anything of value on there? I don’t have Facebook and haven’t been able to follow the group for forever now :)
That Prodigy cover you played at BlipFest was wicked; what was it and where can I get it!
