Simon. I’ve noticed you’re moving further and further away from Chiptunes.
I still really think you should release this with a Creative Commons license
or something because there are many people who’ll refuse to listen to your
music if you only make it available in CD form that requires purchase.

I was sad to see your gradual departure from presence on 8bitpeoples.
I first learned of you from there, and now I’m depressed to see that
your albums are only for sale now.

Thank you for your input.

Here are some facts that might help you:

01. I don’t make chiptunes. Everybody just like to think it’s chiptunes.
02. I didn’t do a single “chiptune” until fall 2000.
03. I started making electronic music fall 1991.
04. Time period between fall 2000 and fall 1991 is 9 years.
05. My first release on 8bitpeoples was in spring 2004.
06. The 8bitpeoples release featured 4 tunes. FOUR. Three of them were my originals.
07. I have to date produced over 900 tunes.
08. I have been making electronic music for 15 years.
09. I have been making chiptunes for 6 years.
10. It’s now 2 and a half year since my first 8bitpeoples release.
11. The tunes of this new album are made 2001-2006.
12. Why would I give a rats ass about total strangers refusing to listen
to my music, especially if it would be available for free?
13. On 8bitpeoples.com, on the FRONT page there is a list of Upcoming
releases. If you would have been even MODERATELY interested in this site,
you would have known something. Check it and read point 14.
14. It’s funny that you would use the term “Gradual Departure” at this
point, don’t you think?
15. “moving further and further away from Chiptunes” – please explain
this as well.

Please, you do the math and see how accurate your claims are.

Q: Why do I release my music on CD for purchase?
A: Because free rubbish mp3′s with shitty quality make people lazy,
greedy, whiny and spoiled.

And well, eventually even “depressed” as you are now, because of your
goal of maintaining unhealty sick conceptions, where you imagine yourself
having some kind of right to access my art, and to tell me the price and
value of it, is not being met. You can refuse listening to my music all
you want, you can cry and be depressed, you can jump of a cliff for all
I care, or skip rope. I just don’t see what this has to do with me? I
really don’t. You don’t make my art happend, I’m sorry, you just don’t.
You are no reason for me. For anything.

It’s hard to grasp what a stupid message you have sent me.
Every details has something wrong with it.
Please, get some facts before you start whining….
Or maybe you are just a sponger, trying to rationalize you
guilty conscious with this bullshit…
